Built to optimise Windows 8, the XPS 12 convertible (Laptop), Latitude 10 tablet, Latitude 6430u Ultrabook, and the OptiPlex 9010 All-in-One with touch controls were launched on Wednesday. According to the computer major, the product range has been specially designed to provide the next wave of computing experience to its “valued” customers.
With new launches and products in its portfolio, Dell was targeting to achieve a double digit growth in the February2013-January 2014 period, against a flat growth in the corresponding period of the previous year.
Shishir Singh, director, product marketing, Dell India, said, “Dell has designed the new portfolio of devices and solutions keeping in mind changing user preferences for great flexibility and efficiency. These devices will maximise the balance between end-user preferences, productivity and IT control, and are backed by robust customer service.”
He further added, “The combination of new Dell hardware and cloud client solutions, with Intel technology and Windows OS will allow customers to create and consume content in new and exciting ways which makes technology more accessible and intuitive.”
He further added the XPS 12 convertible, Latitude 10 tablet, Latitude 6430u Ultrabook will free customers from carrying multiple devices, helping them save time and be more productive. The new products offer users an intuitive touch experience, enterprise ready features, the security. Also, compatible with needs of organizations to securely deliver applications and content from their cloud using robust, reliable, and scalable solutions, this will help in enabling companies to give employees devices they want to use while reducing operating costs and maintaining the IT security and manageability necessary for enterprise-class deployments.
