IT services firm e4e has expanded its service offerings for the gaming and interactive entertainment industry with the launching of newer services through Absolute Quality, a division of the company. e4e had acquired US-headquartered Absolute Quality in July 2004 for an undisclosed sum.
With the new and expanded services christened ‘CIO service portfolio’, the company aims to provide the game publishers with services for developing better game experience through game analytics and internalisationô localisation services. The company will also offer advanced security solutions to the game developers by protecting the online games from external hacking apart from technical support solutions. “The enhanced service portfolio will address a growing need among our customers. e4e is a leader in delivering business-specific managed services from global delivery centers. The CIO service portfolio expands our reach in to the holistic lifecycle from game design to implementation and ultimately supporting the games,” said Shirish Netke, president, Interactive Entertainment and Mobility Services, e4e.
The interactive entertainment industry today is facing the challenge of how to design games that gamers want while at the same time reducing the cost of game development and improving customer experience.
Absolute Quality claims to be working with 18 of the top 20 game publishers across the world.
