Chennai-based EdServ Softsystems Ltd has tied up with CAClubIndia, an interactive online platform of finance professionals, to offer online Chartered Accountant (CA) training.
The company expects the partnership to bring in Rs 20 crore business in the current fiscal and around Rs 50-60 crore in the next four quarters, according to a senior executive from EdServ.
Under the tie-up, CAClubIndia would provide EdServ's CA coaching content to its student base of almost 600,000, the company said in a filing to the BSE.
"We have an ambitious plan to capture 10 per cent of the Rs 2,000 crore CA training market in India in the next three years," said S Giridharan, chairman and CEO, EdServ Softsystems.
CAClubIndia attracts 70,000 professionals and students to its site everyday. EdServ would provide online access to expert classroom videos and assessments to CA students.
It had earlier entered into a joint venture with Chennai-based Sreeram Coaching Point (SCP) to provide online CA training programmes. It was also looking to offer online training services in other professional sectors, said Giridharan.
