Edurite Technologies, the Indian arm of TutorVista, providing technology-enabled education, is looking at taking its new software DigitALLy to schools across the country.
The company has partnered publishing firm Macmillan Publishers India to offer DigitAlly to students of Class XII, said Meena Ganesh, CEO, Edurite Technologies.
Apart from CBSE and ICSE, it is looking at the respective education boards in Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and West Bengal. “We have positioned DigitALLy in such a way that teachers would find it easier to impart education in a classroom through a combination of text, animations, videos and images projected on the screen,” Ganesh said.
Edurite has three to five year contracts with about 3,000 private and government schools. They will be provided upgrades and training on e-enabled education.
Macmillan Publishers India managing director Rajeev Beri said the partnership aimed at providing quality content to optimise learning in classrooms. Macmillan, under its SchoolSupport programme, will send its representatives to schools to train teachers in using DigitALLY for teaching.
