Leading BPO player Firstsource Solutions has completed a major restructuring resulting in creation of four verticals with a separate chiefs, designed to facilitate better customer focus, develop domain expertise and optimise efficiencies, a top company official said.
"The four verticals are telecommunications and media, healthcare, BFSI and Asia Strategic Business Unit, and each will be headed by a chief who is tasked with growing the business of the vertical," Firstsource Managing Director and CEO Ananda Mukerji told PTI here.
The telecom and media vertical will be headed by Santanu Nandi, executive vice-president, healthcare by US-based Mike Shea, president, and BFSI by Sanjeev Sinha, senior vice-president. The Asia SBU will be spearheaded by Chandra Iyer, executive vice-president.
As per the new structure, both Nandi and Sinha will report to the president and CEO of the company's European operations, Matthew Vallance, while Mike Shea and Chandra Iyer would report directly to Mukerji. Vallance will also report to Mukerji.
"With this new structure, we feel we will be able to have an enhanced customer focus, ability to develop domain expertise, new service offerings and most importantly, people tasked with the growth of the vertical," Mukerji said.
"This will also usher in greater accountability and over time, a higher client penetration, cost optimisation and increased profitability," he added.
