Logistic software solution provider Four Soft planning to set up a BPO arm aimed at strengthening its presence in the logistic offshore business.The company is scouting for a joint venture partner to set up the BPO subsidiary, Srikanth Palem, CEO of Four Soft, said here."Currently we are conducting a project feasibility study...And scouting for a strategic partner for the venture," he said, but declined to divulge investment details for the BPO venture.The company currently provides software products for transportation, logistics and supply-chain management market place and also offers IT consultancy services.Four Soft is also mulling an acquisition in Europe to expand its foot print in the European continent."We are in talks with couple of firms. We may make an acquisition, but the discussions are in the very preliminary stage," Palem said.The company is looking an acquisition in the range of $ 10 million.The acquisition is part of the company's plans to broaden its presence in verticals within the transport and logistic space such as port operators, ground handling and carriers such as air freight and sea freight operations, to garner a larger pie of the transport and logistic software market.
