The BenQ PB2250 projector is designed for the professional on the move. The company has just launched this with a promotion scheme, which offers trips to Thailand as a prize to early buyers. The projector is slightly smaller than the average file-folder and weighs less than 2 kgs.

It functions include password protection and a special high altitude mode. The PB2250 uses a golden ratio color wheel that supposedly maximises purity of prime colors. It has a 2.000:1 contrast ratio and a 16.7 million colour pallette, allowing the projection of sharp, clear diagrams.

The BenQ PB2250 comes with 8 preset modes allowing customisation for presentations, movie watching and gaming. The lamp has a 3,000 hour lifespan and the projector is also HDTV compatible. The High Altitude Mode is designed for extreme environments like high altitudes and high temperatures..

Silver series storage

The Iomega external hard drive-silver series is a good way to enhance the digital storage on your system. It's a plug & play, 3.5 inch high speed hard-drive, which links up with an USB 2.0 outlet form where it draws its power.

The external hard drive can offer 7200-RPM performance. It is PC and Mac compatible and available in capacities of 120GB and 160GB. The 160GB versions can hold up to 740,000 photos, 2960 hours of music and 240 hours of video.

The drives also include Iomega's Automatic backup feature software that provides advanced real time back up that is automatic and touch free. The prices start from Rs 8,520.

Laptop guard

The STOP anti-theft license plate from www. stoptheft.com is a clever, patented protection tool that offers additional protection against laptop theft by eliminating the resale value.

The STOP security stick-on patch reduces the street value of a stolen item to zero because if the patch is removed, it leaves a permanent "stolen property" tattoo on the casing.
