Japanese IT major Fujitsu is planning to capture about 20% of the personal computer and notebook market by 2010."Our aim is to capture 20% of the market by 2010. We would be gradually expanding our network and customer reach to achieve our target," Junshi Yamashita, managing director of Fujitsu India, said today."We are a late entrant in the Indian market, but it is a shining market and we have our plans. In the first year, we will be making our products available in 24 cities across India through our channel partner Salora," he added.Yamashita also said the company would be setting up 12 exclusive Fujitsu concept stores across the major metros. "We already have two in Mumbai, and we recently launched a store in Chandigarh," he added.The company today launched its new range of PCs and notebooks starting at Rs 43,000. "The target is to achieve sales of 9,000 notebooks and 10,000 desktops by March 2007," Ramanjeet Singh, head of the PC division of Fujitsu India, said.
