BPO firm Genpact today said it has bagged a five-year back office services contract from telecom operator Unitech Wireless.
As per the deal, Genpact will deploy customer service solutions for Unitech Wireless in North India through its operations center in Jaipur, Genpact said in a statement.
The value of the deal was, however, not disclosed.
"This is a significant win for us and we are delighted to collaborate with a company that is focused on becoming a preferred telecom service provider. Our deep understanding of enterprise-wide business processes and operational excellence are strengths we will apply to serving Unitech Wireless," Genpact President and CEO Pramod Bhasin said.
Unitech Wireless is a joint venture firm of real estate major Unitech and Norway-based Telenor Group that operates under the brand name 'Uninor'.
Genpact will provide Unitech Wireless with support in areas including process reengineering, inbound and outbound customer service and training, the statement said.
"With Genpact as our partner, we will build the quality of customer service as our strongest differentiator in this competitive market," Unitech Wireless Executive Vice-President (Marketing) David Meneghello said.
