Global course for Tally professionals launched

Tally Solutions Private Limited launched its global certification program in Chandigarh today as part of a social initiative. The company has 25 Tally academies across Punjab. As a leader in the financial and accounting domain, the move is aimed at building a community of competent Tally professionals.
 
"In the next three months alone, in Punjab our placement associates and executives will generate 5,000 employment opportunities and will be visiting 1,000 organisations," said Avinash Gupta, CEO, Education and Training Business, Tally Solutions Private Limited.
 
According to a market survey done by Tally, there is a requirement of one million jobs for Tally professionals in India. The minimum qualification for undergoing the Tally certification program is a 12 class certification and clearing an online test, the fee for which is Rs 990. The program is being launched with two tests "" the Tally financial accounting certification and the Tally technologies certification.
 
Gupta said after a recent tie-up with Himachal University, the company was in the final stages of signing up with universities and colleges in Punjab.
 
"We have signed up with 49 colleges in Punjab and are looking forward to tie-ups with the Guru Nanak Dev University, Punjab University etc," stated Gupta. Tally has also gone in for an agreement with Punjab Infotech and will be covering the backward and rural parts of the state to bring quality education and job opportunities to the youth.
 
Revealing the company's plans to open 70-odd academic centres in one month across the state, Gupta said, "We are going for a franchisee model and are looking at 500-750 sq feet area of space. The investment will be anywhere between Rs 5to Rs7 lakh."
