Globsyn Crystals to cost Rs 150 cr

Globsyn Technologies is planning a Rs 150 crore work habitat centre in partnership with leading real estate developers, Pradeep Sureka and Rahul Todi.
 
The centre would be spread over six lakh square feet. The initiative was inaugurated today by state IT minister, Manabendra Mukherjee. Also present was IT secretary, G D Gautama.
 
The project was conceived by Bikram Dasgupta, chairman and chief executive officer (CEO), Globsyn Technologies.
 
Dasgupta said, Globsyn Crystals was conceptualised keeping in mind an environment where people enjoy working, where work become not only more productive but a seamless part of one' well being.
 
The project was scheduled to be completed by October 2007.
 
"Today there is a growing need to create an attrition free work habitat. Globsyn Crystals enmeshes high-tech architecture and environment with a learning centre and hot of life enriching services to create an ambience of life at work. This, we believe, would significantly reduce attrition rates for the industry" he said.
 
Some of the features that Globsyn would have were a BPO Academy and a B-School. The institutes would be placed to take care of the hiring and training needs of the companies which would be located within the complex.
 
For life after work hours, Globsyn Crystals would have a gymansium, the digital theatre, super market, club, dining facilities. Globsyn Crystals was being promoted by Globsyn Technologies in association with Intelligent Infrastructure.
 
State IT secretary, G D Gautama said, 13.3 million square feet of space would be added for the industry over the next 24 months.
