Good Technology (GT), provider of wireless handheld computing software and service, has acquired key technology assets and engineering talents from JP Mobile Inc.

JP Mobile, a pioneer in wireless handheld computing, was founded in 1995 and has maintained operations in Dallas and at Hyderabad in India, both of which will be integrated into GT.

"By integrating key components of JP Mobile's server and security technologies with our GoodLink server, service, and client software, GT will be able to extend its mobile messaging and PIM system to all of the leading corporate messaging platforms, while simultaneously raising the bar for end-to-end integrated security on Windows Mobile, Symbian, and Palm OS platforms," Danny Shader, chief executive officer of GT, said in a press release.

Shader said that Good Technology would be able to serve many more customers within the US and abroad, the press release added.
