HCL launches EC2 laptops in Punjab

HCL Info Systems Ltd launched its new range of note book computers featuring the revolutionary 'Embedded Continuity and Control' (EC2) technology in the region recently.
 
Named as 'HCL Non Stop Series' the new EC2 enabled note books are self healing computers that are enable to recover in less than a minute, in case of system crash or accidental loss of data by the user.
 
The new range of products was being launched after research which suggested that 95 per cent of all problems with PCs are software related and include accidental deletion of critical data and corruption of various software or even virus related system crashes.

Speaking at the launch, Executive Vice President of HCL Infosystems George Paul said, "HCL is proud to introduce the 'Non Stop Series' of laptops with EC2 technology, which is a revolution itself.
 
"The new range of HCL notebook will definitely bring revolution and even prior to the launching itself, there were thousands of queries about the range from Punjab", he added.
 
New range of products was expected to yield good response from Punjab, especially from Jalandhar, which is known the NRI capital of the state and great potential in the field of Information & Technology due to presence of several Engineering colleges in the city.
 
"We have received several queries from the city's DAV Engineering College as well as from Lovely Professional University of the city and even before launching of the product, orders were booked" Paul said.
