After enrolling more than 11,000 IT professionals and young job seekers in 42 career development centres (CDCs), HCL Infosystems is all set to launch corporate training centres (CTCs) in Noida and Mumbai next month. The company plans to set up five more training centres for corporates while opportunities are being explored to launch career development centres in South Africa and gulf countries.The company plans to help youngsters and corporates prepare themselves to meet the demands of the fast-paced software industry in India through career development and corporate training centres, Rajendra Kumar, exec VP, HCL Infosystems today said at the launch of the company's 43rd CDC in Pune."We launched our first CDC in Noida on August 11, 2006 and so far, more than 11,000 professionals and freshers have rolled in at our CDCs. More than 1,000 candidates have already been placed in various IT companies even before they completed the training course," Kumar said."Following the success of CDCs, we plan to launch similar centres for corporates. A lot of IT professionals and top executives need to updare their skill set and knowledge on a regular basis. The corporate centres would enroll such officials and help them refurnish their skills. The first two corporate training centres are expected to be operational in Noida and Mumbai in December," Kumar added.
