HighPoints may share content on AOL

HighPoints India Private Limited, a Hyderabad-based software development company that provides content and support for education solutions, may share its content on America Online (AOL).

At present, the company provides its solutions and services to HighPoints Learning that provides web-based solutions and services to over one lakh registered students and 5,000 teachers.

Addressing the media on Thursday, Jeetan Singh, co-founder and chief executive officer of HighPoints Learning Inc, said, "We are looking at strategic tie-ups for global expansion plans and are in final stages of negotiations with AOL that may use our content for delivery on its website."

HighPoints suite of products include HighPoints Math, HighPoints Score, iCoachMath and HighPoints SAT. It also offers assessment services and live customer support. The Hyderabad-based centre currently employs around 70 people, and will be increasing its headcount to 300 educators over a year.

The company also plans to enter the CBSE and ICSE streams in the Indian market from the coming academic year. It plans to promote its products in Asia-Pacific, UK, Canada, South Africa and Middle East and may enlarge its subject base to include science as well.
