Honor launches Honor 5X and Holly 2 Plus

Honor, Huawei’s smartphone e-brand for digital natives, today launched the Honor 5X and Holly 2 Plus in the country. 

The Honor 5X and Holly 2 Plus were made available for pre-order at Flipkart and Amazon from 3 pm today. The sale of Honor 5X will commence from February 1 midnight and Holly 2 Plus from February 15 midnight with exclusive partners.

The Honor 5X is a dual-SIM phone featuring a rim-free touch fingerprint sensor with a 0.5 sec unlock time. It is Honor’s metallic phone with nanoSIM, microSIM, and microSD card slots, together with expandable storage space up to 128 GB. It features a 5.5-inch 1080p full HD screen and runs on a quad-core 1.3GHz processor. The phone is equipped with a 13MP rear camera and 5MP front camera and is backed by a 3,000 mAh battery. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop and Huawei's customised UI. The phone houses 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal memory. The phone is priced at at Rs 12,999 and will be available in three colours — gold, silver and grey.  

The Holly 2 Plus supports 4G for both CDMA and WCDMA. The phone is powered by a 4,000 mAh battery with a reverse-charging feature to share your power with your friend via Micro-B USB to Micro-B USB Cable. The phone offers a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera.  The device sports 16GB internal storage and a MicroSD card slot for storage expansion. The phone runs on a 1.3Ghz quad-core processor and 2GB RAM. The Holly 2 Plus is priced at Rs 8,499 and will be available in black, white and gold colours. 

Honor would be providing its customers regular software updates to ensure that they have access to the latest and most up to date product experience. The Honor has already come up with 7 HOTA updates and the Marshmallow update for Honor 7 is available for download on Honor’s official website.
