Chinese telecom company Huawei, on Monday, launched two smartphones and two tablets under Honor range, its online brand, which will be sold exclusively on Flipkart.
The company has kept the prices at Rs 19,990 and Rs 9,990 respectively for the smartphones and the tablets. While the smartphones will be sold starting 6 October, tablets will be available from 8 October.
"India is a strategic market for Huawei and a big focus for Huawei Consumer Business Group. The company has performed extremely well in the market in the last two years demonstrating a firm commitment for India. Our product line up for the next quarter is exciting and promising and we are confident that our tie-up with Flipkart will further fuel our growth and success in India," said Cai Liqun, India CEO, Huawei Telecommunications (India).
Huawei Honor 6 comes with a 5-inch full-HD display (1920x1080p,440ppi) and is powered by a Huawei Kirin 920 octa-core processor and 3GB RAM. It has 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera and runs on Android 4.4 KitKat.
Its tablet - the MediaPad Honor T1 comes with 8-inch HD display, 1.2GHz quad-core processor and 1GB RAM. It runs on Android 4.3.
