Hutch to upgrade network

In a bid to provide superior network connectivity, Hutch, a telecom service provider, has upgraded their 101 cell sites across the Goa circle.
 
"We have ensured better connectivity in the Goa cluster by setting up sites in key locations and these sites of the telecom service company in Goa as well as its enhanced network is far superior and uses technology that is not far behind the latest international standards," CEO of the company B P Singh said.
 
Hutch is placed at the third position by its sheer size, in Maharashtra and Goa. However, Singh said, "On incremental market growth basis, the company is on the higher side."
 
He maintained that the Hutch network has covered 65 per cent of the Goan population area, so far.
 
Stating that the company was in a position to put up towers in high places in the state, Singh stated that Hutch has ensured that the network covers all highways and railroads in the state. Besides, routes entering in the state of Maharashtra-Goa, as well as Karnataka-Goa. "Wherever our signal goes, we have the market," he said.
 
Observing that Goa is a multi-opportunity destination, with a flourishing business and tourism sectors, Singh said the company is all set for expansion in the tourist state.
 
He also informed of features of the telecom service such as billing service in nine Indian languages, apart from English, Hutch access, Blackberry communication device, Hutch mail and many other features.
