iGate to hire 100 IT professionals from Dindigul

iGate Global Solutions, an integrated software and services firm, is planning to hire over 100 IT professionals from Dindigul, a tier 2 town in Tamil Nadu, through campus recruitment.
 
The candidates will be hired for its software development facility in Chennai. The scaling up of its Chennai operations comes on the back of the company winning new customers and additional business from existing customers.
 
iGate's Chennai software development centre services a number of big global clients, including a leading European insurance company, a global logistics player and a global Fortune 500 company, a company release said.
 
V Viswanathan, assistant vice-president, IT solutions, iGate, Chennai, said that the company had identified Chennai as a destination of choice to create a 'Centre of Excellence' for J2EE and .NET. Competencies. "The centre will focus on developing cutting edge applications for the manufacturing vertical. We will also invest in training and knowledge management to enable the Centre of Excellence model," he added.
 
Bangalore-based iGate has a global employee strength of over 4800 people. Over 70 per cent of its employees work out of its four offshore facilities in India.
