| Tie-up with US universities |
| IT major Infosys plans to tie up with leading universities in the US to upgrade the domain knowledge of its faculty at the Global Education Centre (GEC) in Mysore campus. |
| Professors and doctoral students from US varsities like Cornell, MIT and Carnegie Mellon will be on a visit to Mysore for 45 days to train Infosys' GEC faculty on developments in various domains of IT. |
| The intention is to make sure that all the employees, especially the technical staff, are updated on the developments. |
