Infronics Systems Limited, a Hyderabad-based IT solutions company has bagged a Rs 10-crore order from the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) project – Aadhaar.
“A letter of intent to in this regard has been issued by the civil supplies commissioner, Andhra Pradesh, to the company to undertake enrollment of 4 million estimated population in Hyderabad and Srikakulam districts,” MS Raju, chairman and managing director of Infronics, said in a press release on Thursday.
The order awarded to Infronics envisages collection of Iris and 10 fingers biometric data of the people living in the two districts. The BSE-listed company has to execute this project by setting up 100 enrollment stations in Hyderabad and 300 stations in Srikakulam. “The company is expected to recruit 750 additional manpower for this project,” Raju said.
