SumTotal Systems has announced that London-based Inmarsat, supplier of global mobile satellite communication services, has implemented SumTotal's learning management system for both internal and external applications. |
The system is being used by Inmarsat's extended enterprise, which includes the company's value-added resellers, besides its sales and call centre staff, a media statement said. |

The company has also announced that it has been positioned by Gartner Inc in the leader quadrant in the 2005 learning management system Magic Quadrant report. The report is a graphical representation of a marketplace based on Gartner's analysis. |

SumTotal Systems Inc posted total revenues of $18.4 million for the third quarter of 2005, an increase of 20 per cent from $15.3 million in the third quarter of 2004. Net income for the third quarter of 2005 was $0.1 million, or $0.01 per share on both basic and diluted basis, an improvement from a loss of $2.2 million or $0.11 per share in the same quarter last year. |
