Inmarsat implements SumTotal's learning management system

SumTotal Systems has announced that London-based Inmarsat, supplier of global mobile satellite communication services, has implemented SumTotal's learning management system for both internal and external applications.
 
The system is being used by Inmarsat's extended enterprise, which includes the company's value-added resellers, besides its sales and call centre staff, a media statement said.
 
The company has also announced that it has been positioned by Gartner Inc in the leader quadrant in the 2005 learning management system Magic Quadrant report. The report is a graphical representation of a marketplace based on Gartner's analysis.
 
SumTotal Systems Inc posted total revenues of $18.4 million for the third quarter of 2005, an increase of 20 per cent from $15.3 million in the third quarter of 2004. Net income for the third quarter of 2005 was $0.1 million, or $0.01 per share on both basic and diluted basis, an improvement from a loss of $2.2 million or $0.11 per share in the same quarter last year.
