Kenexa, a $65.6 million provider of human resources-related software, services and proprietary content, has announced that it is set to launch a global applicant tracking system completely developed out of India. |
"We will be launching a next-generation applicant tracking solution, a beta version of which is likely to be released in the second quarter of next year. It will be easy to use and have a new user interface," Rama Velpuri, chief technology officer, told mediapersons but refused to divulge further product details. |

Apart from applicant tracking, Kenexa has solutions catering to skills testing, behavioural testing, performance management and HR analytics. |

Though the Indian centre has developed products for the company, this is the first time that it is developing an applicant tracking system here. Company officials declined to disclose the R&D investment outlined for the product. |

Kenexa has over 800 employees globally, of which around 270 are employed in India. It has also started a development centre in Malaysia with 20 employees. |

In India, Kenexa has a sales office in Bangalore and plans to expand to Mumbai, Noida and Chennai.The company plans to up its India headcount by about 100 in a year. |

Meanwhile, Kenexa is also consolidating its operations by setting up a campus in Visakhapatnam. The construction work for the 25-acre campus is likely to start in October this year. |
