Google on Thursday unveiled the Pixel 7 series, Pixel Watch, and Pixel Tablet at its 'Made by Google' hardware event held at New York City. From the portfolio, India is set to get the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro. These smartphones are available for pre-order on Flipkart. The Pixel Watch is not coming to India for now, and the Pixel Tablet is due for launch next year. Here are the highlights from Made by Google event:

Pixel 7: What to expect

The Pixel 7 is expected to be a trimmed down version, and not the small screen twin, of the Pro model. It is expected to sport a 6.3-inch fullHD+ OLED screen of 90Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by the Google Tensor G2 chip, but the RAM and storage capacity is likely to be capped at 8GB and 256GB respectively. It is expected to be IP68 rated for water and dust resistance. As for the design, it is likely to have an aluminium frame and textured glass back with horizontal bar shaped camera housing accommodating the phone's dual-camera system.

Pixel 7 Pro: What to expect

The Google Pixel 7 Pro is expected to be similar to the Pixel 6 Pro with steel frame, glass cover on the back, and horizontal camera bar, and triple-camera system on the rear. It is expected to sport a 6.7-inch QHD+ resolution screen of 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. It will be powered by the Google Tensor G2 chip, paired with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. The smartphone is expected to be IP68 rated for water and dust resistant.

Pixel 3 was the last premium smartphone Google launched in India. Since, it has been only the affordable A-series made available in India. The Pixel 4, Pixel 5, and Pixel 6 skipped India launch. It is set to change with the Pixel 7 series. Google is returning to India's premium smartphone market with the launch of Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro. Both the smartphones will be available in India.

Pixel Watch: Known details

Google’s maiden smartwatch would sport a circular design with domed glass cover on top covering the display and bezels. It will feature a tactile crown and a side button. The watch would be made of recycled stainless steel. It will be powered by Google WearOS with Fitbit's health-and-fitness features integrated.

Pixel 7 series: Offers available on pre-order

The Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro will be available for pre-order on Flipkart from 8:15 pm (IST). On the pre-orders, Google is offering the Pixel Buds A-Series and the Fitbit Inspire2 at a discounted price of Rs 5,999 and Rs 4,999, respectively. It is a limited-period offer that can be availed through coupons, which will be enabled only after the delivery of Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro. Besides, Flipkart is offering priority delivery on the pre-orders.
