US-based provider of lifestyle messaging solutions, uReach Technologies Inc, has formed a partnership with Hyderabad-based software product development solutions provider – MARS Telecom Systems – to deliver value-added services (VAS) to the Indian mobile, wireline and broadband service providers.
The new partnership follows uReach’s entry into the Indian carrier market in September 2008, when it opened its Indian headquarters in Gurgaon. The new partnership envisages deploying and supporting uReach's Converged Services Framework (CSF) and VAS in India with the help of MARS Telecom's team of implementation, test and technical support experts.
“uReach’s increasing investment in India comes at a time when the Indian telecom market continues to expand rapidly. The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (Trai) reports over 15 million new mobile subscribers just in the month of January. Our carrier partners are excited to be able to bring our messaging, social and calling applications to their growing consumer and small business markets,” uReach chief technology officer (India) Rich Vidil stated in a press release on Wednesday.
