Software services firm Mastek sees flat revenue growth in the January-March quarter, a top company official said.
"We expect the appreciating pound sterling against the dollar to impact the company's revenue over the next two quarters," Mastek Chief Financial Officer Farid Kazani told reporters here.
The company derives 52 per cent of its revenues in pound sterling, and a strong sterling is seen eroding revenues, Kazani said.
"It will also affect our foreign exchange holdings as we have investments in the pound (sterling)," Kazani said.
The insurance vertical, which constitutes nearly 30 per cent of revenues, is witnessing a healthy growth, he said.
On the growth in the government segment he said that "growth in the government (vertical) has been very slow while revenues from wealth management services are seen flattish, but we are positive on the insurance segment."
Kazani was speaking on the sidelines of the India Leadership Forum, organised by Nasscom.
