MindTree, a global IT solutions company, has launched contract pricing framework using IBM WebSphere Commerce to solve time-consuming business-to-business (B2B) eCommerce challenges presented by implementing and managing multiple contracts and price lists for a single customer, the company said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
The company announced the launch at the National Retail Federation’s (NRF) Big Show in Bangalore today.
Leveraging its WebSphere expertise and Centre of Excellence (CoE), MindTree has developed a customizable Contract Pricing Framework (CPF) that allows a single customer contract to be associated to multiple contract templates spanning from manufacturing, procurement and logistics to finance and legal among other business functions. The CPF also enables flexible pricing for B2B customers using multiple price lists, global discounts, and absolute price. In addition, CPF supports regionwise and role-based field level access to contracts which ensures that the right people have access to information.
MindTree’s IBM WebSphere CoE has over 450 professionals specialising in WebSphere technologies and developing scaleable, secure B2B, business-to-customers (B2C) and business-to-employees (B2E) applications on various WebSphere products. The CoE helps companies leverage technology to deliver against specific business challenges. MindTree is an IBM Premier Business Partner and has been a previous recipient of the IBM Beacon Award - 2008 for overall technical excellence, Asia Pacific. The company has also been recognised as a distinguished finalist for the IBM Impact Business Partner Solution in the year 2008.
