Mphasis BFL today announced the launch of BPO operations at its new facility in Mangalore.According to a release issued by the company to the BSE today, the facility, with an initial investment of Rs 70 crore, will accomodate 3,000 employees in the initial stage of operations."This is the company's fourth facility in India in addition to the two existingfacilities in Bangalore and one in Pune," the release added.The BPO business recorded revenue of Rs 74.48 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2004 as against Rs 48.32 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year, the release said.
