MTNL has beaten private cellular operators in garnering the highest number of new subscribers - both in New Delhi and Mumbai - for the fourth straight month.MTNL accounted for 63% of the new GSM connections in Delhi and 46% in Mumbai in March, R S P Sinha, CMD of MTNL, said.He also indicated that MTNL was finalising the next round of expansion of networks in Delhi and Mumbai.Sinha said MTNL's net addition during March in Delhi stood at 43,270 when compared to a little over 24,000 for Bharti and 30,127 for Hutch.In Mumbai, MTNL added 54,307 subscribers as against 25,133 by BPL, 7,122 by Hutch and over 32,400 by Bharti, Sinha said.
