My Airtel: A must for its subscribers

For those who want all things in one place, My Airtel app is the one. The app helps Airtel subscribers (on Android, Windows and iOS platforms) manage their mobile (prepaid/postpaid), broadband, fixed-line and DTH. On installing, one has to register. The user interface is fairly simple and easy to navigate.

The app comes with various features - one can recharge their account, buy a new Airtel service and stream music, among others. It also runs a rewards system. On every recharge, it offers a coupon worth Rs 300. These coupons range from discounts at food outlets to e-commerce websites. It asks for the subscribers' birthdays and assures a 'surprise' during their birthday week.

On the dashboard, the app displays the talktime balance (for prepaid subscribers), the date up to which activated plans are valid and alerts if the expiry date is close. It has a customisable tab called "I want to" where one can set shortcuts to their favourite activities. One can log on to Airtel Live for news updates. It comes bundled with Wynk, an Airtel music streaming service, and the Airtel Money e-wallet service.

The app runs smoothly and is small in size which can be downloaded over mobile networks. It is available for Androind, Windows and iOS and can be downloaded for free.
