Ahmedabad-based nCode Solutions, a division of Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers Corporation Limited (GNFC), is aiming at a 50 per cent growth in its business. Having posted a turnover of Rs 40 crore for the financial year 2009-10, nCode Solutions expects to peg it at Rs 60 crore for the fiscal 2010-11.
A leading provider of public key infrastructure (PKI) and digital signatures, data centers on turnkey basis, e-procurement, e-governance and remote IT infrastructure and management services, nCode Solutions is banking on its 'nProcure' and digital signature business to grow considerably. "In the month of September itself, we issued around 52,000 digital signatures, while October also has seen issuance of 22,000-23,000 digital signatures..Our portal, www.nprocure.com, also completed 40,000 tenders online successfully worth more than Rs 80,000 in the past 3.5 years," said Jagdeep Kochar, executive director, nCode Solutions.The company has been servicing tenders online for various infrastructure, road and pharmaceutical projects for the state government.Recently, Kochar was also appointed as the chairman of India PKI Forum which hosted an International Symposium on PKI for the first time in the country.
"The Asia PKI Consortium (APKIC) is formed to promote e-Commerce utilising PKI in the Asia and Oceania region among other objectives. India had hosted APKIC General Assembly and the International Symposium for the first time."Meanwhile, nCode Solutions has also installed the country's first State Data Centre (SDC) for the state of Gujarat under the National E-Governance Plan (NEP). The company is also currently executing data centre projects like Madhya Pradesh Madhya Kshetra Vidyut Vitran Company Ltd - Bhopal, and Punjab State Electricity Board apart from other large government organisations including GMDC, GSFC, GGRC, GUVNL, GIPC, SSNNL, ONGC and Mazagon Docks Ltd.
