Personal computer (PC) sales touched 23.4 lakh units during the first half of the current fiscal - a growth of 36% when compared with H1FY05.Manufacturers Association of Information Technology (MAIT), which tracks the industry, said PC sales were expected to touch 47 lakh units in the current fiscal as against the earlier projection of 42.5 lakh units."Buoyancy in the first half can be attributed to high corporate consumption, robust sales in small towns and launch of sub-Rs 10,000 PCs," Vinnie Mehta, executive director of MAIT, said.
