Polaris Software Lab has signed a deal with the National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD) to implement Intellect Suite.According to a release issued by Polaris to the BSE today, "the Intellect Suite is an enterprise platform that meets the needs of retail, corporate and private banking. Built on an open architecture technology platform in a modular fashion, it meets the 'next generation' technological requirements of banks."Abdulla M.S. AbdulRaheem, chief operating officer of NBAD, said: "We are pleased to be working with Polaris on the assignment as we wanted a partner whose strengths include building long-term relationship with its customers. Polaris was willing to actively participate in the process of 'co-creating' with the bank a solution ideally suited to the Middle East market."Koen Van den Brande, president (product group) of Polaris, said: "I am proud that a prestigious bank like NBAD has chosen Intellect for its retail banking requirements. Intellect will provide NBAD a technology platform that is flexible, scalable and efficient."
