Professional opens office in Ludhiana

The Professional, a US-based immigration consultancy services company catering for the needs of IT professionals and also hiring them for IT-related jobs in the US, has opened its office in Ludhiana, its first in Punjab.

The Professional is part of US-based Big Apple Infotech, an IT consultancy company with over seven years' experience in software development.

Giving details about the company, Shawn Mehta, managing director of Big Apple Infotech, said the company had branches all over the world.

"Our offices are located in the US, the UK, Canada, Sri Lanka, the Philippines, Dubai, Pakistan, and India. To cater for the rising demand for Indians in the Silicon Valley, Big Apple Infotech has opened branches in New Delhi, Gujarat, Karnataka, and Punjab. It has an array of prestigious clients namely Citibank, IBM, Morgan Stanley, Pfizer Inc, Bank Boston, NA, Consortium tours of North America, GE Power Systems and Logistics Solutions.''

Mehta added that the US is a land of immigrants and has historically welcomed settlers from around the world with open arms.

"Many Indians have prospered and some bountifully so in America. And those successful NRIs have become an inspiration for many aspiring talented Indians. In order to work in any foreign country, including the US, Indians need a job offer from prospective employer, which grants the holder entry for a specific purpose. And Big Apple Infotech eases the burden of getting a job offer for deserving IT professionals, by forwarding their bio data's to respective clients, who after scrutinizing them and interviewing them, finally hire them. And for the same purpose, we are opening our Ludhiana office. Till now, we have hired over 500 IT professionals and at present 230 of them are employed with us, with 22 from Punjab.
