A lower court on Wednesday extended the judicial custody of the accused in the Satyam financial scandal till June 10.
Satyam founder B Ramalinga Raju, his brother and former managing director B Rama Raju, former chief financial officer Srinivas Vadlamani, PriceWaterhouse auditors S Gopalakrishnan and Srinivas Talluri, Satyam vice-president G Ramakrishna, senior finance manager D Venkatapathi Raju, assistant finance manager C Srisailam were produced before the court as their judicial custody ended today.
B Suryanarayana Raju, Raju’s brother who secured an anticipatory bail, was also produced in the court.
On Tuesday, Datla Gopalakrishnam Raju, general manager of SRSR Holding, who is out on bail, filed a petition in the court seeking the return of his passport.
This case as well as two other cases — the Enforcement Directorate seeking the court’s permission to record the statements of the accused and the CBI’s plea for conducting a lie-detection test on Ramalinga Raju — would be heard on June 1.
