Reliance 3G-services launched in Chhattisgarh

Reliance Communications (RCOM) today launched the 3G services across Chhattisgarh.

"The launch of Reliance 3G is an integral part of our Vision-2015 of creating a wire-free India built upon the 'affordable 3G for all' platform," Vivek K Garg, Regional Head of the company said while launching the services here today afternoon.

Personalization of services, simplification of tariffs and a content rich portfolio on the 'Best in Class' 3G wireless network will enable Reliance customers to get a much superior 3G service experience, significantly differentiated from others in the marketplace, he added.

Reliance 3G finds a unique position with the offerings covering 3G, CDMA, GSM and Mobile Broadband Data Services on the wireless platform, Garg added.

Reliance Communications will be launching Reliance 3G services across all 13 telecom circles, where it holds 3G licenses, by end of the first quarter of the fiscal 2010-11. The company is targeting a national footprint of Reliance 3G services through associations with quality 3G licensees in the balance 9 telecom circles during the course of next year.

Garg said Reliance 3G services would offer the widest bouquet of cutting edge services including video calling, mobile TV, video streaming and applications accessed at superfast speeds ubiquitously on a variety of mobile and personal computing devices.

Recently, Reliance Communications had launched 3G services in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Chandigarh.

The company has rolled out 3G services in a record time of around 100 days of receiving 3G spectrum in the major metros of India. RCOM holds 3G licenses in the telecom circles of Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan, West Bengal, Himachal Pradesh, Bihar, North East, Jammu & Kashmir, Orissa and Assam.
