Reliance Infocomm has launched international roaming through tie-ups with global operators including China Unicon and US-based Sprint PCS.The company has also entered into agreements with Pelephone Cellular Communications (Israel), Mobile-8 (Indonesia) and Telecom Mobile (New Zealand), an official statement said today.Reliance Infocomm is also in talks with 12 operators in 11 countries including Japan, Taiwan, Korea, Australia, Hong Kong, Thailand, Canada and the US (in addition to Sprint) accounting for 90% of the global CDMA footprint, the release said.Inder Bajaj, business head (post-paid) of Reliance Infocomm, said: "With these tie-ups, post-paid subscribers of Reliance India Mobile would be able to remain connected with their homes and rest of the world while roaming in these countries."Subscribers from these countries would get similar service while visiting India, he added.
