Smart-phone device provider Samsung Electronics Co Ltd today announced the expansion of its Galaxy smart-phone range with the launch of the Galaxy S Advance and Galaxy Pocket, a top company official said.
These devices are designed to deliver powerful performance and offers an immersive user experience, Ranjit Yadav, Country Head, Mobile and IT, Samsung India said.
The launch of Galaxy S Advance and Galaxy Pocket will serve to strengthen our premium as well as entry level offering in the smart-phone market, he added.
Announcing the national launch of these two products for India's users, Samsung now has 19 smart-phone models with prices between range of Rs 7,350 and Rs 38,250.
Currently, Samsung's market share of mobile phones is 44.7%, while it is targeting to capture 60% of the market share, this year, Yadav said.
So far, Samsung has sold five million units globally, he said.
