Samsung launches two mid-segment galaxy tablets

The Tab A is priced at Rs 20,500 while the Tab E can be bought for Rs 16,900

Samsung on Thursday announced the India launch of two mid-segment tablets, Galaxy Tab A and Galaxy Tab E. Touted by the mobile giant as ‘optimal synthesis of design, portability and productivity’, the  Tab A weighs 320g while the Tab E weighs 495g.

The Tab A features a 4:3 aspect ratio and a rich adaptive display. It runs on 4G LTE and supports multiple frequency bands. 

The Tab E, with a 9.6-inch screen and 16:10 ratio is made for consumption of multimedia content. It also comes with a ‘Kids Mode’, which features a children-friendly graphic user interface that simplifies apps and makes them visually stimulating for the young users.

Both tablets incorporate expandable memory up to 128GB, and support voice calling features.

The Tab A  is priced at Rs 20,500 while the Tab E can be bought for Rs 16,900. The Tab E will be available exclusively on Flipkart.

The Galaxy Tab A will be available in Smoky Titanium and White colours and while the Galaxy Tab E will be available in Metallic Black and Pearl White colours across India.
