Satyam Q1 net at Rs 206 cr

Satyam Computer Services Ltd has posted a revenue of Rs 1,057.81 crore and a net profit of Rs 206.04 crore for the quarter ended June 30.

The company's income during the quarter under consideration has increased by 31.85 per cent and the net profit rose by 18.76 per cent compared to the revenue of Rs 802.26 crore and a profit of Rs 173.48 crores during the corresponding quarter in the previous year.

The consolidated revenue and net profit during the first quarter of the current fiscal stood at Rs 1,058.71 crore and Rs 190.20 crore, respectively.

The consolidated revenue was up by 35.7 per cent and profit after tax was higher by 16.76 per cent compared to the revenue of Rs 779.86 crore and net profit of Rs 165.38 crore during the first quarter of 2004-05.
