B Ramalinga Raju, Founder & Chairman, of Satyam Computer Services has been nominated as the new Vice-Chairman of NASSCOM (National Association of Software Companies) for 2005-2006. He will take up the new responsibility from April 1, 2005.According to a release issued by Satyam to the BSE, Ramalinga Raju will assist the chairman of Nasscom in providing leadership and guidance to its different initiatives to maintain India's global leadership in information technology and further enhancing its competitiveness and pre-eminence in this sector.
