Satyam to provide services to Canadian firm

Satyam Computer Services Limited is going to provide strategic IT consulting services to Canada-based mining leader Inco Limited, the Hyderabad-based IT company announced here on Tuesday.

Under the contract, Satyam will conduct a bechmark study on Inco's IT , which will serve to support its IT strategy and application portfolio management, a press release said.

"The study will identify key areas in Inco's enterprise IT department in need of improvement and the project will provide the company with recommendations and a roadmap for enhancing the efficiency and development of its enterprise IT, resulting in reduced costs and increased effectiveness," the press release stated.
