Satyam, Zycus ink pact

Satyam Computer Services Limited on Wednesday announced a strategic global partnership with Zycus Inc, a leading provider of spend data management software.
 
The new global alliance combines Satyam's consulting and system integration expertise with Zycus' software technology to deliver a value-added solution to customers worldwide.
 
Satyam will offer implementation and system integration services around Zycus' entire product suite "� Zycus Spend Data Management.
 
The suite includes AutoClass, its AI-based software tool that provides automated, granular and highly accurate classification of poor quality, multilingual item and supplier data to a global category tree of customer choice to enhance spend visibility, while still leveraging the existing IT infrastructure.
 
Zycus' AutoClass can be deployed in two modes, ie, batch mode and real-time mode behind the customer's firewall.
 
Commenting on the alliance, G B Prabhat, director (consulting and enterprise solutions unit), Satyam, said, "We are excited to enter into this alliance with Zycus, which is widely acknowledged by industry experts as a visionary leader in spend data management. With this partnership, Satyam is now poised to address additional opportunities in the area of supply chain management, assisted with Zycus' AutoClass software tool and deep domain expertise."
