The Supreme Court today issued a notice on a petition filed by Trai challenging an order of TDSAT holding that the regulatory body had no authority to adjudicate on disputes raised by a service provider.The court issued a notice to BSNL as it was on its petition that TDSAT had given the ruling that "when dispute arises on the issue of breach of licence agreement or on the question of inter-connectivity between the service providers, it is the appellate tribunal (TDSAT), which is the sole judicial authority to decide on the dispute and not Trai."
