Seven sign up for Infy's Finacle

Seven tier-1 and tier-2 banks around the world will implement Infosys Technologies' banking solution Finacle 10, the latest, which was launched on Wednesday.
 
Around 105 banks in 60 countries have implemented Finacle for their domestic and international operations. In India, 30 banks have implemented Finacle in 32,000 branches.
 
"The latest version will enable banks to transform their multi-country operations through a standard platform and processes. The new version brings along with it a new set of offerings such as Islamic banking, wealth management and an enhanced mobile banking solution," said T V Mohandas Pai, Member of the Board, Infosys Technologies.
 
Pai said more companies were expected to sign up for Finacle's latest version. "All the seven banks that have agreed to roll out Finacle are new clients. We expect the existing customers to migrate to the new version in the coming days," he added.
 
According to Finacle Business Head Haragopal M, 14 new deals were signed in the last nine months of the present fiscal estimated to fetch $220 million over three years. "We are witnessing significant growth. During the previous fiscal, We had 12 deals. We will continue to look for new clients across all geographies," he said.
 
Pai said Infosys has been making continuous investments in Finacle. "It is core to our growth strategy. We have invested over $60 million in the last three years to build this banking solution. Finacle has been integrated with Infosys' services such as system integration and consulting," he said.
 
The revenue guidance for Finacle during fiscal 2007-08 is $145-$150 million.
