, deputy CEO of Munjal eSystems (MeS).

Eight years ago, this daughter of Sunil Kant Munjal began with greenfield IT projects. "Right after college, I joined the family business," says Munjal, "Launching an IT initiative in a group that had done nothing in the sphere, was a challenge in itself."

So, how smooth was her beginning? "Hero group has a stringent succession plan," she points, "I actually was assisting in the accounts and was almost two years before I got my first project."

Her induction programme, Munjal adds, was the ideal way to show her things bottom up " right from the shop floor to the top management.

Having honed her skills in fields of consultancy, implementation and support services for Enterprise Resource Planning, Supply Chain Management and Customer Relationship Management, this third generation entrepreneur is hungry for more.

Today, handling the reins of MeS, an independent SBU of the Rs 10000 crore Hero Group, the lady is at complete ease. "I am proud to say that MeS is one of the leading ERP implementer in India providing integrated business solutions to its customers."

MeS has achieved annualised growth rate of over 200 per cent over the last two years and is expected to grow at 100 per cent for the next two years.

"As a professional, I am accountable to my company board and for that I need to keep performing," she agrees. For now, Munjal is not complaining about the work pressure. Be'coz, she's loving it.
