Sonata bags $5m contract

Sonata Software, a Bangalore-based software services company, on Wednesday said that it has inked a deal with the Atlanta-based Church's Chicken, a US-based fast food major.
 
According to the $5 million agreement, Sonata will provide complete outsourcing services to Church's, including remote infrastructure management network and data centre management, helpdesk and application management.
 
The deal is spread over five years and will enable Church to lower its IT outsourcing costs substantially and improve the quality of customer service.
 
B Ramaswamy, president and managing director, Sonata Software said, "We consider Church's as another milestone in providing end-to-end to solutions for service provider for enterprises."
 
Harsha Agadi, CEO, Church's Chicken said, "The fast food is a dynamic industry and Sonata will be instrumental in ensuring that we serve our customers in an efficient manner."
