Surana Telecom has bagged a Rs 34.6 crore order from MTNL. The order is for 75,000 handheld CDMA phones for which the total value received from MTNL is Rs 26.1 crore and for 20,000 pieces of CDMA fixed wireless cellular phones valued at Rs 8.5 crore, Surana Telecom said in a release issued to the BSE.The company is also engaged in the manufacturing of optical fibre cables and jelly-filled cables, and has participated in the recent tenders for which orders of around Rs 35 crore are expected, the release said.
