Tally launches online certification programme

Software major Tally (India) Pvt Ltd, in a pioneering initiative of their rapidly expanding education and training business, launched its own global online certification programme in Jaipur on Saturday.

Driven by the growing needs for Tally Certified Professionals from its enormous user base and across the corporate world, Tally aims to bring standardization in its pursuit of excellence in the education stream.

As a leader in the financial and accounting domain, Tally has set up a special online certification program in a bid to build its growing community of competent Tally professionals.

Irrespective of their educational backgrounds, students can now learn and get certified on Tally. With 18 lakh users, the requirement for Tally Certified Professionals (TCPs) has been on the increase.

"In the next 3 months alone, over 400 placement associates and executives will meet 3.5 lakh employers across the country to place TCPs; Tally is pumping in an investment of Rs 3 crores in this initiative. In a country where 55 per cent of the population is in the age group of 15-59 years, this program is a great opportunity and will allow TCPs the freedom to move to the city of their choice. This is by far the largest placement initiative undertaken by any company", says Rashmi Bhargava, product manager education & training business, global.

Talking about Rajasthan, Bhargava said that in 35 centres located in the state, a 60 hours course would be launched.

All those who are successful in the certification tests will not only receive a competency certificate declaring them as Tally Certified Professionals (TCPs) but can also avail placement services from Tally.

The programme is consciously geared towards fulfilling employers' real life usage and need to make informed business decisions.

The program is being launched with two tests "� the Tally Financial Accounting Certification (TFAC) and the Tally Technologies Certification (TTC).

The Tally Financial Accounting Certification is meant for all those who would like to work on Tally business accounting and inventory software and would like to be a part of the community of competent financial accounting professionals.

On the other hand, the Tally Technologies Certification is for those who would like to pursue a career as a solutions programmer on Tally. This program stems from the wide demand of Tally users to customize Tally.

Students can choose to work with companies or turn entrepreneurs. Along with the Tally Technologies Program, the candidate will receive TallySilver 7.2 and TallyDeveloper software which would enable a candidate to begin his consultancy.

The world's only certification program on Tally by the creators of the software is offered only through its global Tally Academy Network. Today this network has 800 centers in India and expected to increase to 2000 by end of the year.
