Tata Indicom rolls out mobile broadband services in Delhi

Telecom operator Tata Teleservices (TTSL) today announced the launch of its mobile broadband service in New Delhi.     

The mobile broadband service will offer a plug-n-play device for individual and small office/home office users and router for enterprise customers.

Home users would pay Rs 3,500 initially and would have an option to select tariff plan based on their usage needs, while for the business segment, the router is available at a refundable security deposit of Rs 6,999 and a one-time activation fee of Rs 1,000 (followed by monthly tariffs), TTSL's statement added.     

"The awareness and demand for wireless internet connectivity is increasing rapidly and with laptop and PC sales showing exponential growth, there is a huge demand for wireless high-speed Internet access," TTSL Chief Operating Officer (Delhi and NCR) and Regional Head North Vineet Bhatia said.
